Only the 100% Sangiovese, raised in this unique area and produced with an ancient passion and strict methods, capable of marrying strenght and elegance in a precious, and at the same time natural wine, can reach its maximum expression and boast the name of Brunello di Montalcino.
Our Brunello is created to last in time, aging and maturing, up to exalting the purest essence of the Sangiovese, with strenght and elegance, as it behooves one of the most celebrated wines of Italy and Tuscany.
- Vines: 100% Sangiovese
- Position: hilly area, facing south-east
- Soil: average clayish mixture, with large skeletal presence
- Cultivating system: Density: 7,800 stocks per hectare, spurred cordon
- Yeld per hectar: 40 quintals
- Vinification method: Vinification and fermentation in steel with apx. 3 weeks of maceration, malolactic fermentation in 30 hectolitres oaken barrels
- Aging: 36 months in 30 hectoliters oaken barrels
- Curing: at least 12 months in bottles before marketing
